This contest is now closed!  Thank you to those who entered.

Today I have something exciting for you guys.  A new (to me) brand and a giveaway!  Soulstice is a vegan and cruelty free brand.  They offer spa quality products & toxin free nail colours.  They have 35 colors of polish to choose from that are 3-free, vegan and cruelty free.  I was sent 2 polishes to review and I really like them!  The colors are beautiful and the application was great.  You can find Soulstice Nail Colour on the Soulstice website for $8 each.

Provence is a nice lavender creme.  This went on smooth and easy, not chalky at all.

Monterey is a blue creme that is a little on the jelly finish side.  Love this one!

Zoya~Intimate

Happy Friday!  How is everyone feeling this day after St. Patrick's Day?  First of all, I want to apologize for the lack of posts.  I have fallen into that dreaded 'bloggers rut' and I'm happy to say have climbed my way out of it.  So, hopefully, with this post, I will be back on track!

Today I have the Zoya Intimate collection.  Usually, I will buy a few polishes from a collection, unless it is a small one that won't break my bank.  But, I knew from the very first Zoya promo or teaser picture of this collection, that I had to have all six.  This collection reminds me of early spring, when everything is just starting to get their colors back.  It is a collection of the prettiest, ethereal colors I have every seen.  Zoya polishes can be purchased here and check them out on twitter and facebook too-rumor has it there is a promo coming up!

Dove is a pale grey creme.

Marley is a pale lavender with pearly shimmer to it.

Gemma.  What can I say about the amazing Gemma that hasn't already been said?  It is a sage green with lavendar shimmer that gives it a subtle duochrome effect.  If you do not have this color, you simply must-no collection is complete without Gemma.

Caitlin is a grey-lavender creme.  I looks more grey in real life than it photographed.  But, it is a great color too!

Jules is a golden beige with lots of multi-colored shimmer.

Danni is a light grape purple with light gold shimmer.

So, what do you think?  Great colors or not so great colors?

Essie~Winter 2010/2011

With all the buzz about Spring Collections popping up here and there, I thought I'd better get this amazing Winter Collection up for you to check out.  Essie's Winter 2010/2011 is made up of 6 beautiful creme polishes.  I have 4 to share with you.  I found these pretties at Ulta.

Hot Coco is just that.  It is the color of a warm cup of hot chocolate.

Smokin' Hot is a beautiful dusty grey-lavender-mushroom creme.  It is a bit darker on the nail than in this picture.

Masquerade Belle is a great dark warm red creme.

Luxedo is the favorite amoung this collection for me.  It is a black-purple jelly!  Absolutely gorgeous!

Essie~Fall 2010

Happy Wednesday everyone!  This is the last of the Fall 2010 polish collections that I have to share with you.  It may still be fall, but there is snow 30 miles up the road from my house and it is 38 degrees outside today-that is winter behavior, lol.  Essie has stepped out of the box in the last year and offered some amazing colors!  Their Fall collection is no exception.  I have 4 of the 6 colors, Merino Cool, Sew Psyched, Limited Addiction, and Little Brown Dress.

Merino Cool is a beautiful muted lavendar-taupe creme.

Sew Psyched suprised me.  I didn't care for it much in the bottle, but I love it on my nails!  It is a sage green with just a touch of shimmery pearl.

Limited Addiction is a great brick red creme.

Little Brown Dress is a dark, dark brown creme.

BB Couture

BB Couture is quickly becoming a favorite polish line of mine.  Their color range is really great and the quality is as wonderful.  You can find BB Couture on their website or at Overall Beauty.

Beetle Bailey is a pretty dusty dark lavender creme.

Grasshopper is a great lime green with a dusting of green and silver glitter.

Malibu Green and Konad

When I saw American Apparel's Malibu Green, I knew I had to Konad it!  It's been a long time since I did a Konad, so I hope you enjoy.
I used American Apparel Malibu Green as the base, Konad Plate m57, black Konad Polish, and Zoya Malia for the spots.

I really like this!  I have wanted to do this color combo Konad for a while.  Don't forget to get all of your Konad supplies at OC Nail Art!  Thanks for looking!

Zoya, Zoya, Zoya

Zoya is enabling us polish addicts once more with a deal too good to pass up.  The details can be found here but in a nutshell, they will exchange a minimum of 6 old nail polishes for brand new, beautiful Zoya polish!  You just mail them the old, pay $3.50(shipping & handling) per bottle and you'll get a great package full of great new polish!

Here are a few Zoya swatches to help with your polish selections.  Charity is a dusty lavender with pale golden shimmer.

Coco is a beautiful pinkened brown creme.  This polish has been on my Zoya wish list for months and I finally got it!

Nephratiti is pinkish red with hot pink shimmer.

So, what polishes are you going to get???

Sally Hansen & Pure Ice

Today I have 2 'drug store' brands, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear and Pure Ice.  Now Sally and I have not had the best relationship, but we definitley kissed and made up!  Wet Cement is my gray!  I love this color and have nothing bad to say about this polish.  Pure Ice is a polish I have never tried before.  The application was fine, but it was super sheer.  A lot more sheer than it looks in the bottle.

Wet Cement is a beautiful light gray creme.

Busted us a really sheer lavender shimmer.  I was really disappointed in this color.  It is really sheer.  You can see in the bottle how pretty and dense looking it is.  This will be good for layering, too sheer or me.

Zoya~Gwin, Lana, & Adina

I am sure by now you all know that I LOVE Zoya!  They never fail to impress me and the Reverie collection is no exception.  I only bought 3 of the 6, but now I am regretting that decision.  The 3 I did get are gorgeous!

Gwin is a tangeriene duochrome dream.  I t has a gold and green sheen and sparkle to it.

Gwin

Lana is not really orange, it's more coral with a green and gold douchrome shimmer.

Lana

Adina is by far my favorite.  It is a dark lavender with a green duochrome shimmer.

Adina

Zoya's Reverie collection is available on their website for $7.  Run, don't walk and get the whole collection!

China Glaze~Light as Air

Happy Monday!  Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend!  Today I have Light as Air by China Glaze.  This is from their Up & Away Collection.  I think it's safe to say that Up & Away is a huge hit.  It has some beautiful spring colors.  Light as Air is a pale lavender creme.

China Glaze~Light as Air

The formula was really smooth and I didn't have any problems at all with application.  Pale cremes tend to be streaky and problematic, but Light as Air was wonderful!  Great color!

Don't forget to enter my contest!  You find out all of the details here.

Zoya~Harley

A couple of weeks ago I took advantage of Zoya's Hot Lips promo and I couldn't just get lip balm, right?  So, I bought 2 polishes, too.  Harley and Snowsicle are the two I chose and today I have Harley for you.

Harley is a cool, light lavendar-gray with a light pearl and a light dusting of shimmer.  It is very pretty.  This is 2 coats with a base and no top coat.

I received my order from Victoria Nail Supply yesterday and along with the 2 Japanese glitters, I also ordered 3 of the Color Club Wild At Heart Collection and Fashion Addict. WOW, I swear I heard music when I pulled Fashion Addict out of the box. What an amazing holographic. Is it lavender, is it lilac, is it silver, I don't know. It's a silvery, lilac, lavender rainbow! Hands down, this is a must for any nail polish collection, addiction, or what have you.
Ladies, I give you Fashion Addict by Color Club
