Deborah Lippmann~Dark Side of the Moon & Lady Sings the Blues

I know the Emmy Awards were a while ago, but I have two Deborah Lippmann polishes that were really hot at the Emmys and are timeless colors that should be in every nail fanatics collection.

Lea Michele wore Lady Sings the Blues.  Lady Sings the Blues is a stunning polish!  It has silver glitter and silver hexagon glitter suspended in a dark blue base.

January Jones wore Dark Side of the Moon.  This is the perfect vampy color.  It is super dark blackberry creme.

These two polishes are classy, timeless, and a must have!  You can find Deborah Lippmann polish at Nordstrom, Barneys, Neiman Marcus and at the Deborah Lippman website.

NY Fashion Week News

I received this PR announcement today and wanted to share it with you.

"New York Fashion Week is just around the corner. Can you believe it?! Kick off the week at Fashion’s Night Out on September 10, 2010 at Barney’s New York from 6-10 pm with fashion manicurist Deborah Lippmann.

Stop by New York City’s iconic department store on Madison Avenue (at East 59th Street) and receive personal nail consultations with Deborah Lippmann. She can help select which colors are best for your skin tone and pick out shades for any occasion. She can also provide tips and tricks on how to find the right nail shape for you and how to give yourself a professional quality manicure at home.

Deborah Lippmann~Waking Up in Vegas

Some love her, some can't stand her, and others secretly lister to her, but there is no denying that Lady Gaga is really hot right now!  On this months cover of Vanity Fair, she is wearing the Deborah Lippmann polish Waking Up In Vegas on her nails.  Waking Up In Vegas is a very interesting color.  I would call it a pale putty creme with just a touch of grey.  It is very classy and trendy at the same time.

Outside in the shade.  Look how shiny this polish is without top coat.

You can get Waking Up In Vegas at the Deborah Lippmann website,  Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and Barneys.

Deborah Lippmann~Across the Universe

I would like to introduce my new favorite nail polish, Across the Universe.  This is the most beautiful blue polish in my collection.  It is a sheer dark blue base with blue, green, and tourquoise glitter.  The blue and the green bounce off each other, taking this polish to another dimension.

Debora Lippmann, thank you for such and amazing color!

This is 3 coats of Across the Universe.  You really do need 3 coats on this one, unless you layer it over a dark blue or black.

Deborah Lippmann~Bad Romance

Happy Monday!  What a weekend here in blogger land!  But the good and drama free news is that I have an unbelievably gorgeous nail polish to show you.  I am sure most of you have seen Bad Romance by Deborah Lippmann by now.  It is one of the hottest colors at the momement.  It is turning non-glitter gals into glitter lovers everywhere.

Bad Romance is a sheer black base with a ton of fuchsia glitter.  It has small pieces and chunks of hexagon glittery goodness.

Deborah Lippmann~Hit Me With Your Best Shot

I love Pat Benatar and I love Lippmann polish, so Hit Me With Your Best Shot is a rock 'n roll polish made in heaven.  It is the love child of Deborah Lippmann and long time friend Pat Benatar.  It is edgy and classy all at the same time.

Hit Me With Your Best Shot is a beautiful gun metal grey shimmer.  It is so pretty!  It has just enough blue shimmer to give it that "is it gunmetal or is it a steel blue?" look.  **Warning, since my last post my middle finger broke-bad :(

Since some of you youngsters out there are like, "Who is Pat Benetar?" and for the  rest of us, here is "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" by Pat Benatar.

You can get Deborah Lippmann polishes on their website, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, & Barney's New York.  So, go get some!

Thank you so much to the awesome people at Deborah Lippmann for sending me all of these amazing and wonderful polishes!

Deborah Lippmann~Glitter!

I have 2 more Deborah Lippmann polishes today.  Today it's glitter!  Superstar and Ruby Red Slippers are amazing glitters.

Superstar is a gorgeous copper glitter in a sheer black base.  This is two coats, but you could get away with one.  The second coat just gives it that extra pop.

Ruby Red Slippers is a black base with different sizes and shapes of red glitter.  Black and red is my favorite combo, so this color makes me VERY happy!

Deborah Lippmann

Sorry about the lack of posts the last week.  Summer officially began last Friday and I have been keeping my kids busy.  I'll get this new summer schedual figured out and you'll see more post soon, I promise!  But I do have some stunning and awesome polish for you.  I have 2 words, Deborah Lippmann.  If you have not tried Deborah Lippmann Polish, you HAVE to.  Her colors are gorgeous, the glitters are amazing and the application is flawless!  You can find these and other beauties at the Deborah Lippmann website, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, & Barney's.

Happy Birthday is a rainbow of every color, shape and size of glitter.  It really looks like they poured confetti into the bottle.  This color is fun and unique.

Supermodel is a collabation between Deborah Lippmann and Supermodel Dree Hemingway and is described as a "sheerish reddish-orange" but to me it's a gorgeous tangerine orange jelly!

'Lucky' Green, part VII

This is my last green for you. I think I have saved the best for last-Lippmann-Don't Tell Mama. It is a really dark metallic green blue. The first coat went on a bit streaky, but evened out on the second. In the sun, you can really see the true color. It looks nearly black indoors. Unfortunately, my pictures didn't come out right and you can't really see the green as much as you should in the sunlight. I had this polish on my toes for nearly a month and it never once chipped! Treat youself and get it! Love it!
