Patriotic Manicure

Happy day after the 4th of July!  Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend.  I did a red, white, & blue paint job on Sunday and thought I would share.  I am not the person who does her nails for this holiday and infact, usually the only holiday I really get into is Halloween, so this is really out of the box for me.  I used Zoya~Sookie for the red & Nubar~Navy Blue for the blue.  The white is China Glaze Crackle in Lightning Bolt.  Then I added a coat of China Glaze~Pixie Dust, & toppped it with a top coat.  Before you look at the pictures, I just want to remind you to enter my Summer Give Away!  Check it out and enter here. 

I have to be honest, this is so not me!  I think it looks pretty good and maybe if it were a different set of colors I would have liked it better.  My kids loved it and Some times, that is enough!

Zoya~Snowsicle

It is freezing here in sunny California.  I am a mid 70's to 90's kind of girl and it is COLD outside!  It's been in the 20's at night and the 40's during the day.  Now I know that most of you live in colder places and are probably laughing at me right now, but oh well, I love you anyways :)  This is why I chose Snowsicle by Zoya.

Snowsicle is a very sheer sparkly, marshmallow white.  I was hoping for something a little less traslucent, but it layers nicely over other colors.

Sugar Skulls

Happy November!  Hope everyone had a great Halloween and weekend!  Today I have some Sugar Skull decals that I bought on ebay.  The ebay store is LuckyStarStyle.  There are some great decals at this store and the customer service was great.  I think I had them within a day or so.  They went on easy and came with good instructions.  I've never had very good luck with decals.  They are usually too thick or too thin, but these where just right.

I used China Glaze Moonlight and them applied the decals on top.

Moonlight is a sheer milky white polish.  I really like it.  I've been noticing white nails a lot lately and glad I tried this polish.
