Misa~Sorry Just Can't Help It & Can't Nobody Take Me Down

Happy Monday!  I have 2 Misa colors for you today.  I bought these a while ago and pretty much forgot about them...oops!  They are from their fall/winter 2009 collection I'm Only Human.  They are pretty, but nothing really special.  There is so much glitter and shimmer and holographics out right now, that these kind of pale in comparisson.  But, I love a good creme polish and you can find these at Trans Design

Sorry Just Can't Help It is a plum creme

Can't Nobody Take Me Down is a raison creme

Last Friday of Summer '09

If you like corals and orange glitter, this ones for you.  Since next week is Fall, I thought I'd search my stash for one last summer swatch.  This is a little hard for me because I don't like rules about nail polish and make up.  I say wear what you want, when you want to!  I tend to favor the darker polish colors, but I stepped out of the box and came up with this for you.  Sinful Colors~UFO & Misa~Stop Rewinding, Just Fast Forward on my index finger with UFO on top.  UFO has caught my eye a couple of times, so the last time I went to Walgrens, I bought it.  Stop Rewinding, Just Fast Forward is a bright coral creme.  I really like the UFO on top of the Stop Rewinding, Just Fast Forward.

Anyways, enjoy your last summer of 2009 weekend!  I am sad to see it go it truly was one of the best summers I've ever had, as a parent anyways ;)

'Lucky' Green, part IV

I know my pictures suck, but this one really sucks. As I was headed out the door to take a picture, I totally messed up my nails. But here is Misa-The Grass Is Greener On My Side with Essie Matte About You on top. It's kind of cool.

Konad for the little ones

Ever since I discovered Konad, my daughter is constantly begging me to do her nails. She's 10 and she has little nails. It's a little more difficult when stamping little nails, but not impossible. The designs that I have the best luck with are the small flowers, bows, or just using a portion of a larger design. I also highly recommend the double ended stamper. The smaller end is much easier to use on little nails. Another quick tip for when you are doing someone elses nails, is to prepare the image plate upside down and pick up the image upside down. That way you don't have to fiddle with it before you transfer it.

With keeping with my green theme, I chose Misa The Grass is Green on My Side, Cool Red Konad Princess Polish and plate #7. And in true Miss D fashion, she didn't like it and so the 2nd picture is Nubar Hollywood Pink, Konad White, and S9.
