MAC~Studded
MAC has come out with several collections in the last few weeks and I picked up one of their matte polishes from the Riveting Collection. Studded is descibed as a "true silver pearl". To me it looks more like a silver with a touch of taupe and it's too sparkly to be a pearl, I would say it's more of a shimmer. It is matte, just more of a satin matte, not like the OPI mattes. More like OPI Suede. I think this is a really cool color, I just with it were a little more silver and darker-that would be a great matte silver!

How was the application on these? I have to say I was not planning on buying any of the new MAC colors. I have been so disappointed with the formula one too many times. But this is gorgeous! I actually like that there is some taupe through the silver - I think that is what makes it so great! Now I just might bite afterall!
The application was good. Not great like the Nubar mattes, but WAY better than the OPI Matte and Suede. Still no chips either. Usually mattes and MAC polishes chip within a few hours on me.
That is a gorgeous color!
