OPI~Swiss

Today, I have my two favorite polishes from the OPI Swiss Collection.  William Tell Me About OPI and Ski Teal We Drop are amazing!  Both of these are gorgeous, rich, dark shades perfect for fall.

William Tell Me About OPI is a beautiful dark wine or vampy creme.  I love this color!

Ski Teal We Drop is an amazing dark blue-ish teal creme.  It's really hard to describe.  If I had to pick my favorite color from all the fall 2010 colors I have seen, this is it!  Everyone HAS to have this color.

OPI Swiss

Happy Friday!  I don't know about you, but I am so glad it's the weekend.  I have 3 very tired little ones who started school last week and they are looking forward to playing the Wii and going to the outdoor mall for live music.  I am looking forward to it too!

Anyways, I have 2 more lovelies from the OPI Swiss Collection.  Today I have I'm Suzi & I'm A Chocoholic and Yodel Me On My Cell.  Wild names, huh?  These 2 went on flawlessly and have great coverage with 2 coats

I'm Suzi & I'm A Chocoholic is a gorgeous warm brown creme.  (I would do anything for a lip gloss this color.  If you know of any, let me know)

Yodel Me On My Cell is a beautiful turquoise with fine blue, teal and green shimmer.  It is a lot like the mermaid colors we have seen this summer, only deeper.  OPI did a fabulous job taking a really hot color and deepening it to take it into the fall.  The bad new is that it hates my camera.  This is not a blue polish.  I tweeked the picture as best I could to get it truer to its really color.
Just look at the color, it's as close as I could get.

Ms Pedicure

Ms. Pedicure sent me this pedicure kit to review.  The packaging is absolutely adorable.  Unfortunatley, I wasn't all that impressed with all of the proucts.  I am the first to admit that I don't like my feet touched or poked.  Having a pedicure for me is not relaxing at all.  So I was really excited to try the Ms. Pedicure Spahh! and the Smooth Talker Callous Remover.  The Smooth Talker Callous remover is something I would never recommend.  It's like a mini cheese grater for your feet.   I did use it and it hurt my heels.  The Ms. Pedicure Spahh! kit came with a Rock n' Sole or a pumice stone.  I liked this a lot better and it worked pretty well.  Smooth Steppin' is an exfoliating foot scrub.  I found it to be too abrasive and there were big chunks of pumice in it.  Soft Soles is the foot lotion.  *You should always moisturize after exoliatiing!*  It has a nice minty scent and is actually quite nice and moisturizing.  The Invigorating Leg Rub is a minty gel-like oil.  I have a thing about shiny legs and well, this sat on top of my legs and took forever to absorb.  It has a tingle to it, which I love.  Minty, tingly legs and feet are the best in the hot summer.

Has anyone ever tried Ms. Pedicure?  I'd love to hear what your experiences with it are.  They have some awsome manicure kits and did you know they made Eco Tools?  I have seen Ms. Pedicure at Ulta and Target.

Deborah Lippmann~Waking Up in Vegas

Some love her, some can't stand her, and others secretly lister to her, but there is no denying that Lady Gaga is really hot right now!  On this months cover of Vanity Fair, she is wearing the Deborah Lippmann polish Waking Up In Vegas on her nails.  Waking Up In Vegas is a very interesting color.  I would call it a pale putty creme with just a touch of grey.  It is very classy and trendy at the same time.

Outside in the shade.  Look how shiny this polish is without top coat.

You can get Waking Up In Vegas at the Deborah Lippmann website,  Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and Barneys.

Sophie Lancaster

I am back!  Sorry I've been missing the last week or so, but the kids started school last week and then we went on a little vacation.

Today I have something very important to share with you.  Last year, shortly after I started this blog, I learned the story of a very special woman.  Her name is Sophie Lancaster and for some reason, her story has touched my heart and sometimes haunts me.  I feel everyone should know about her and her tragic death.  A lot of my firends are punks and goths and they face stares, prejudices, and violence every day.  No one should be judged in any way for how they look whether it be the color of their skin, the height of their mohawk, the patches on their jacket, or the clothes they wear.  I hope you take a few minutes and watch these two videos and learn that out of a sensless tragedy, the Sophie Lancaster Foundation was born.

The fall collections are coming out in full force right now and today, I have Diamond Cosmetics fall collection for you!  The Wild & Warm collection consists of 5 classic cremes.  Before I show you the polish, you might notice something different about my nails in these pictures.  I had to use some Kiss press on nails.  I had 2 really bad breaks last week and they are taking their own sweet time about growing out.  But I couldn't wait any more!  You need to see these colors!

Sunset in Sedona is a warm burnt orange creme.  It is definitley says fall.

Classic Pink is a sheer pink creme.  I love a great sheer pink.  I think it's classy and timeless.

Private School Girl is a beautiful cherry red creme.  I love the name!

It's Nothing to Wine About is a deep wine creme.

And, my favorite, Under the Willow Tree.  This color is gorgeous!  It is a dark evergreen creme.

BB Couture is quickly becoming a favorite polish line of mine.  Their color range is really great and the quality is as wonderful.  You can find BB Couture on their website or at Overall Beauty.

Beetle Bailey is a pretty dusty dark lavender creme.

Grasshopper is a great lime green with a dusting of green and silver glitter.

Two Hard to Finds

These are two HTF(Hard to Find) polishes that shouldn't be htf!  I found China Glaze~Metropolitan and OPI~Have You Seen My Limo last week when I ran into the beauty supply to get some remover.  Of course I also came out with 4 polishes.  Both of these are discontinued, but there might be a few lurking around here and there.

China Glaze~Metropolitan is from the 2005 Urban Chic Collection.  It is a beautiful burgundy with gold, silver, and red micro glitter.

OPI~Have You Seen My Limo is from the 2007 Holiday in Hollywood Collection.  This polish is a slight duochome.  It is a brownish purple base with a green sheen to it.  It also has green, plum, and brown micro glitter.  Have You Seen My Limo is amazing and I can't believe it isn't part of their permanent line.
